A BRIEF INSIGHT INTO THE COMMERCE RESEARCH CENTRE (PH.D.)
The Commerce Research Centre (Ph.D.) is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, and is run under the management of the Pune District Education Association’s Annasaheb Waghire Arts, Science, and Commerce College, Otur, Tal. Junnar, District Pune. The Department of Commerce established the centre on June 12th, 2018 with the worthy help and support of the PDEA's authorities governing body, former Principal, Dr. Pandit Shelke, and the painstaking and arduous efforts of former Vice-Principal and Head, Dr. G. M. Dumbre, as well as the faculty of Commerce. The primary aim and objective of the Commerce Research Centre (Ph.D.) is to promote and direct business research among aspirants, especially in the commerce and management discipline, in the Pune district and adjacent districts in the State of Maharashtra by providing
“Access to Research from Classes to Masses”
The Commerce Research Centre is solely striving to achieve the ultimate motto of our parent institute i.e. “Bhujan Hitaya, Bahujan Sukhaya”.
In order to pursue the same, the Commerce Research Centre, since its beginning, has been trying to accommodate enthusiastic scholars in the commerce discipline and to promote and steer them towards research in light of changing economic and business scenarios in the country. For this purpose, the research centre has engaged research supervisors with specializations in the subjects of Accountancy and Auditing, Business Laws and Taxation, Marketing and Business Administration. Besides, it is also gradually augmenting research facilities for the research scholars in the institute to carry out their research smoothly and efficiently.
